					<description>Interesting post - I never thought to use placemats but i do agree from reading your post that they can be used for other things as well as spilling spaghetti on!
Duct Tape is a must - I normally wrap some around a pen before I set off, as carrying the whole roll is a bit much (when you add all the other things we need up on top of it.
